~This was such a sweet story and very easy to read. The friendships, misunderstandings, drama and obvious but overlooked love pulls you in. Sydney Bell has been in love with Kyler Quinn since they were little kids, but she's shy and insecure and doesn't want to lose the friendship she has with Kyler by admitting her love. Kyler Quinn has always loved his best friend but doesn't think he's worthy of her because, yes, he's a man-whore. I really enjoyed this book, but seriously there were some times I wanted to shake the crap out of both of them. Syd was so insecure and un-trusting that she lets everything get to her. Kyler doesn't seem to notice what his actions are doing to his best friend. There was definitely some laughs in here and moments that you find yourself smiling at the words. I loved the witty banter and the complex but endearing relationship. There was definitely a time in the story that I was mad at both them. After everything that has happened to and between them Kyler leaves to go for help and instead of coming directly back to either get Syd or tell her what the plan was he just leaves her hanging. So Syd decides to go by herself to find him, and automatically assumes the worst of him. Given his track record I could see this, but to me he made it clear that his feelings for Syd couldn't be topped. My two favorite parts were when Kyler has his "oh!" moment when he realizes all the times he's broke Syd's heart and also when her dad comes in 'just making sure he made it up here alive', and then tells him next time to use the front door. I found myself not wanting the book to end, but somehow at the same time it was the perfect amount of story. I liked that it was dual POV's. But I LOVED that there was no cliffhanger at the end.
