I live in Philadelphia Pennsylvania with my husband, two kids, and two dogs. On top of
starting a writing career I am a full time student, and a full time mom. I love spending
time with my kids, although I have to hide the computer from them when I am writing! I
love being active and being able to do any activity outdoors.
I love reading romance books! I feel like being able to lose yourself in a book in one of
the more exciting aspects. The books I love to read and write will be ones that make
you feel for the characters. You should have an opinion on every character in a book.
Whether you love them, hate them, or think they are up to something.
I have always thought as an author the most important critic is your reader, so I would
love to hear from you. If you read the book and loved it or hated it, tell me. As long as
it is in a constructive way I will always answer and interact with you. I want fans to feel
free to tell me what they want for the characters in the story and what they want to see
happen.

“Listen, I know I was an asshole and I’m sorry. It just
drives me crazy that you’re with him, Maddy. I can see that your
not happy. Where is that girl I met the first day that had that
great smile? You never smile when you’re with him and that’s a
damn shame because you have a beautiful smile.”
I saw the blush creeping up her face and, before I knew
what I was doing, I went over to her and kissed her. Her lips
were just as soft as I imagined they would be. She gasped and
I took advantage, slipping my tongue into her mouth. I could
tell she wasn’t experienced, but it didn’t matter. This was the
best kiss I had ever had in my life. She pulled away suddenly,
grabbed her jacket, and ran for the door. I caught up to
her. ”Maddy, please stay.”
“Carter, I can’t do this. I’m with someone else!”
“I know you are and I’m sorry. I don’t know what came over me.”
Yes, I do. I’m falling for her.

Imagine spending your life being unwanted. Abused; mentally, verbally and physically. Jumping from Foster home to foster home, because your father didn’t want you anymore after your mom died.

Imagine that, now you can start to put yourself in the shoes of Madison Stevenson.

This story starts out with Madi losing her mother, to a car accident on her 4^th birthday. Her father blamed her, ‘She’s dead because of you’.

Finally after years of jumping around in the foster system and being the outcast foster child, Madison is graduating and has found some acceptance with her Boyfriend Chris.

He’s not great but he accepts her, he is not always nice but it’s a familiar thing for her and she doesn’t have the courage to speak up about.

Starting off her first day of College, Madison runs into (literally) Carter James, a brick wall of sexy. The Bluest Blue eyes and Sexy unkempt, not too long, not too short, just woke up brown hair ;) (Get your Mental Images going Ladies ;))

Her interactions with Carter start to open up the true side of Chris. Her mindset and reactions to Carter make the wheels turn about what kind of a boyfriend Chris is/was.

This book is filled with the overcoming of Abuse and neglect, learning to Trust and Opening up to love from others. Madison has never had anyone care about her. She has spent her life being made out to be a burden. Going to College and being in a less controlled environment Madison is experiencing things that she has to learn to open up to and accept the care and friendships that surround her.

A touch of Erotica, nothing freaky ;) This girl is determined to overcome her past and wants sex to be enjoyable as she knows deep down it can be. There is some Hot Scenes with Madi and Carter. Carter is Amazing if I say so myself, he’s not pushy but he encourages her to open to be free with her sexuality/sensuality.

There is some action/suspense with Madison and Chris throughout the book. It gives it a good edge I think mixed with the New emotions and ‘learning to love again’ it’s not an extreme roller coaster of emotions but they are all covered in there somewhere from start to finish.

This is one of few books I have read recently that has story dealing with abuse, domestic assault, sexual assault etc. This is a great story/Plot. Its Realistic, the Characters are not over dramatized and I’m sure there is someone out there that can probably relate to this.

I really enjoyed this book; I have to say the ending was…. AHHHH I need more!

I don’t want to give a lot of the story away, and I didn’t put any real spoilers in this but it was a good read, easy read. I enjoyed the characters, and am excited to see what the next books showcase and which characters we will get to learn more about.
