Sugar Kisses—nothing tastes sweeter than revenge…

Roxy Capwell couldn’t be more miserable. She just had her heart stomped on by her cheating boyfriend, and the last thing she’s looking for is love. She hates men.

Cole Brighton couldn’t be happier. He’s a player of the highest order, there’s not a girl at Whitney Briggs University that he can’t tag and bag. He loves the ladies.

Roxy’s dream is to own and operate her own bakery one day, but with no oven in her dorm, and a lucrative baking competition on the horizon, she agrees to move in with her best friend’s brother, the obnoxious, womanizing, Cole Brighton.

Between the heavenly scent of baked goods, and Roxy’s perfect body strutting around the apartment, Cole can’t think straight. So when Roxy’s ex starts sniffing around again, Cole volunteers to play the part of her new boy-toy and things get heated both in and out of the kitchen.

Roxy discovers she might not hate every man on the planet, and Cole discovers nothing tastes better than Roxy and her late night SUGAR KISSES.

Author Spotlight Morgan Jane Mitchel

Questions for Morgan Jane Mitchell

  1. If you were a character in your one of your books who would
    you be ?

If I were a character in my scary dystopian world of Sanguis City, I’d love to be Noir. Although her life is pretty complicated, I have plans for her.

  1. If you could date or marry one of your male leads who would it be??

Sander is my favorite even if he is a bit scary at times; I know his true nature because I made him. Besides, he is a hot vampire god.

  1. Where would you like to do a book signing that you have not been to yet?

I will be signing in New York and West Virginia next year, so there are lots of other places I want to sign. If I have to pick one, it would be in London.
  1. What Author would you Fan girl over if you met them??

I have met some pretty fabulous authors, Neil Gaimen, Kim Harrison, Charlaine Harris, some of my favorites who all had me fan girling. Anne Rice was just at my local bookstore, and I missed it! I will be signing books with amazing bestselling authors; I will be secretly fan girling them all.

  1. If you could vacation anywhere in the world where would you go?

Ancient Egyptian art has always fascinated me. Seeing the pyramids, the Valley of the Kings, sailing down the river Nile is my dream vacation.

  1. Out if all the reviews written for your books is there one that stood out from the rest one that you will always remember good or bad??

One of my favorite reviews http://lions-and-lambs.blogspot.com/2013/10/review-for-sanguis-city-by-morgan-jane.html

  1. Would you like to see your books come to life ...tv movie, mini series or big screen?? If so is there a specific producer who you think would do your book justice??

Personally, I would want to produce my own or at least be on the team. I have no producer in mind. I have seen too many books taken in the wrong direction. I would never give away creative control. For example, since I have a vampire series, True Blood is so disappointing for many fans of the books. A show, movie, comic book, whatever needs to at least follow the rules of the world it is based on. I would never want my books translated into bad fan fiction for the big screen.

  1. Lets turn the tables a bit we are always Interviewing authors so now here is your chance to ask bloggers and your readers if you could interview the blogs who promote you and your readers who love you what 3 questions would you ask them?

Do you like to get feedback from authors about your reviews?
What makes you one click, a cover, a friend’s recommendation, a blog post?
What would you like to read that no one seems to write about?

  1. What is your favorite candy??

Chocolate.

  1. What's your all time favorite movie?

This is hard. One of them is The Color Purple. I love the book. Did you know it’s part of a series? The movie was a great adaptation, plus I have a thing for musicals.

The End was not a Zombie apocalypse but a Vampire one.

Ever wonder what happens after the world ends?
Lilanoir Rue did, a mere by product of the destruction, she never knew what happened before hand either. No longer just a human with fangs, she is banished from the only place she called home, the Human Reservation. She wipes her tears and never looks back.
In a world gone dead, life has never been so good, for some. While others live in chaos, the chosen call Sanguis City home. The rich and powerful found a way to survive The End and enjoy every minute of it, for eternity. On the brink of a gruesome death from starvation, disease or a hungry zombie, humans flock there to sell their blood for peace and security.
The city of blood, made for and by vampires, welcomes Noir; her kind are in high demand. New vampires, the ones who bought immortality, need a loyal workforce. Neither Human nor Vampire, Bleeders take care of the city in the daylight. Draining humans by day and dating Vampires at night leaves Noir little time to think about her past, or much else, until it finds her.
Noir never dreamed her fangs would be the ticket to the good life, but three years in the city has earned her a promising future, career and, just maybe, a love life. But when she falls for her charmingly sexy Professor, an Authentic Vampire, she also falls into a web of nightmares. Does she really know anything about the real Vampires or about the city she now calls home? Unable to escape painful memories, she uncovers more than her own secrets. Quickly her dystopian paradise starts crashing down around her, and some secrets just won't stay dead, and others are bound to kill her before finals week. Ending up in bed with a monster, in more ways than one, might not be as bad as she had imagined.

Logan Kalford was Wren Summers’ dream come true.
All I’d ever wanted was to fall in love and be loved in return.
Logan stole my heart when I least expected it. He was sexy, adventurous, and the way he played guitar left me weak in the knees. He made me happy. He made me think I’d found the one. And he made me believe in happy endings.
I knew he was my forever. I thought he knew it too.
I was wrong.
He destroyed everything I thought we had and shattered my dreams of us. He left me heartbroken. He made me doubt myself.
And he didn’t even seem to care…
Now I must let go. But how can I when he still consumes me?
How do you walk away from what you know was real?

The following Saturday, Distort is playing their first weekend gig at The Edge. Cassidy and I are working together as the bar starts filling up close to capacity. I serve the reserved table their drinks as Holly constantly glares at me. Nothing, not even her, can ruin my good mood. Logan has slept over almost every night this past week. And what a week it has been!
As I walk past the stage, I can’t help but glance up at him. I love how he randomly winks at me or points to me as he plays his guitar. Being picked out of a room full of people makes a girl feel special. I smile shyly and carry on with my job.
I’m serving a group of regulars when I hear laughter and cheers all around me. I turn to see Logan standing there, singing directly to me. I'm mortified! I don't like attention in the slightest, and certainly not in a room with almost three hundred people. I put one hand over my face as Logan takes the other, falling to his knees for drastic measure. I endure it as long as possible before I tug on his hand, trying to make him stand up and stop with this nonsense. My face turns a new shade of red as he finally stops singing long enough to give me a lengthy kiss for all to see, and then continues singing as he walks over and jumps back up on stage. I know he did it just to get a rise out of me. Mission accomplished.
I continue getting sexy glances from Logan throughout the night, but he’s lucky I even look his way after that stunt. I also get a few friendly slaps on the back from some of the regulars with comments about how good we look together.
When their final set is over, I go into the side room off stage, for no other reason than to watch Logan take his shirt off. Giving me a few seconds to lust after him without his knowledge. I notice Holly is taking in an eyeful as well. I roll my eyes at her. Don’t even think about it.
As if sensing I'm near, he turns and comes over to embrace me. Giving me a lingering hug, and a hungry kiss, he asks, “Can I come over tonight?”
“Logan, you can come over any time you want. But after that shit you pulled tonight...well, I’m not so sure anymore,” I taunt.
“Oh, come on. You liked it.”
“I did not! That was extremely embarrassing. I had people coming up to me all night on account of you.”
“Well, I sure enjoyed it. I like people knowing you’re mine.”
“But I’m not yours,” I say directly.
“I hate to break it to you, but you are now,” he says with a glimmer of mischief in his eyes.
